Your Mission :
You will contribute to the design and implementation of large-scale industrial projects for the energetic materials
industry, from the order to the sizing of equipment, to calculating heat transfer and mass, to the commissioning of
complete plants at our customers’ sites.
Your Responsibilities :
- As the customer’s first point of contact, manage correspondence and monitor budget and deadlines
- Evaluate and plan the project: evaluate project deliverables in terms of engineering and equipment to be supplied.
Dimension utilities, calculate material flows and define PFDs
- Participate in HAZOP and other project risk analysis
- Design the project: specify all components of the installation. Define ATEX zones. Develop the P&ID plan. Manage the
preparation of technical drawings
- Prepare and transmit plant engineering files to the customer
- Manage supplies and ensure routing of materials
- Inspect installations before dispatch to the customer. Perform preliminary assembly checks and equipment tests
- Set up the equipment on the customer’s premises: give instructions and ensure equipment installation carried out by
the customer
- Plant commissioning, operators’ training and follow-up until final acceptance by the customer.
Your Profile :
- M.Sc., B.Sc. or equivalent HES/FH degree in chemical engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience in the design and implementation of complete technical projects
- Very good chemical, heat and hydraulics engineering skills
- Marked interest to develop your mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in complex calculations (using Excel) and process optimization
- Knowledge of electrical and safety standards: ATEX, ISA, IEC, NEMA and instrumentation
- Responsible, rigorous and attentive to detail, able to learn, flexible and solutions-oriented
- Fluent in French and English (B2/C1)
- Swiss nationality, valid work permit or EU citizen eligible for B permit
- Available for 10-30% European and intercontinental travels
