Sustainability Senior Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sustainability Engineer to join our sustainability team. This
position will focus on supporting our R&D Innovation and BU Services and Performance teams with a strong emphasis on
sustainability initiatives and product developments. The successful candidate will drive the sustainability agenda,
enhance energy efficiency for our customers, and lead special projects aimed at improving our environmental impact.
Main responsibilities:
Support R&D Innovation:
- Collaborate with Product Line (PL) R&D teams to gather and integrate sustainability inputs for new projects and
innovations on the Product Line roadmap.
- Structure and report on sustainability-related activities and progress.
R&D Retrofit and Upgrade (BUSP):
- Support and promote sustainability upgrade and retrofit strategies in collaboration with BUSP and R&D teams.
- Develop solutions for installed based and customers’ specific solutions
- Assist customers with projects focused on energy efficiency and conservation.
- Develop innovative ideas to enhance operator efficiency through improved Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and operator
interactions.
- Conduct carbon accounting for CM services.
- Lead and contribute to various special projects as required.
Profession experience required:
- 10+ years’ experience in multinational Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering companies with a complex matrix
organization
- 2+ years in a role dedicated to developing Sustainability programs and initiatives for an
Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering company globally
Critical skills and competencies:
- Proven experience in engineering, with a background in R&D and innovation
- Passion for sustainability and how to make it a business differentiator
- Expertise in energy efficiency, carbon accounting, and sustainability strategies a plus
- Business mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Commitment to driving sustainability initiatives and improving environmental impact
Education and language requirements:
- Masters Degree in Engineering/Economics
- Completed business based training or specific formal education related to Sustainability management
- Fluency in English
