East, we offer comprehensive, fully customized solutions for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aircraft engines,
airframes and components sales business including impeccable technical support to over 500 customers worldwide. Our
mission: We safely power your flight. As a Strategic Procurement Manager you will actively contribute to the
formulation, execution and evolution of procurement strategies related to locating, evaluating, contracting and
maintaining the best sources of supply for the materials and services required by Operations while considering all
aspects such as quality, value, performance, cost and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements,
incl. licensing and logistics services. You will take the ownership, responsibility and accountability for supplier and
vendor selection and development. In doing so, you will deliver ongoing and sustainable improvement on procurement cost
in support of SR Technics’ growth objectives.
Your tasks
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership, quality, and delivery performance
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify opportunities, drive sourcing initiatives, and recommend agreements
- Resolve supplier disputes and contract issues through strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement initiatives and support business objectives
- Monitor supplier performance via financial reviews, product quality checks, and customer feedback
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s in engineering, business administration, or economics; additional Supply Chain/Purchasing education
preferred
- Strong experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain, sourcing & contracting; technical/aviation sector background valued
- Project management, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, relationship management, and teamwork
- Proficient in databases; language skills — German (B2) and English (C1)
