We are hiring for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee and lead the electrical construction activities at
our project sites in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Purpose of the Job:
Linxon is seeking a talented Electrical Site Manager to oversee and lead the electrical construction activities at our
project sites in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful execution of all
electrical activities and installations in a high-voltage substation. The tasks include electrical installations of
buildings, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, station control technology, as well as the control and
protection technology of high-voltage equipment (AIS or GIS) and communication.
Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all safety standards, project plans, and budgets. As an essential part
of the project team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects
that meet Linxon's standards.
Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing all electrical construction activities at the construction sites in
Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as Linxon's safety standards.
- Creating and monitoring detailed installation sequences and plan the daily tasks with subcontractors, always
considering key milestones and the overall project plan.
- Promptly issuing non-conformity reports to subcontractors and approving corrective actions.
- Instructing subcontractors on daily work packages and timely escalation to the project team if the set goals are
repeatedly not met.
- Coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align construction work with the overall
project goals.
- Conducting regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure that the work execution meets Linxon's standards.
- Preparing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation.
- Effective communication with project stakeholders, including customers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in site management, preferably in the energy or infrastructure project sector.
- Knowledge of German construction regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent German is required; English proficiency is desirable.
- Valid driving license Class B.
