Working Student Drivetrain Qualification (20-30%)

Belimo is market leader in developing, producing and selling HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) actuators.
The drive train thereby builds the heart of an actuator and consist of a gear, a BLDC motor as well as a motor control
electronic. The motor controller can be configured to work with a variety of different motor- and gear types.

What You'll Do

Develop and establish test setups to measure and characterize drive functions

Analyze the impact of part-to-part variations on a drive function

-

Verify actuate functions and motor characteristics with standardized and/or automated test cases

Determine optimal motor controller configurations for a drive function

Analyze and document measurement results

Who You Are

-

Student in Electrical Engineering, with focus in Mechatronics, Motor Control, Robotics or Drive Systems

-

Interest to gain hands on experiences and insights into actuator design and verification

-

Basic programing skills in MATLAB and/or Phyton

-

Team player with an open personality

-

Independent, reliable and goal-oriented way of working with the motivation to contribute your own ideas
