Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution.
As a Local Product Group of High Voltage Products, the High Current Systems unit is responsible for the development,
sales, manufacturing, and service of generator circuit-breaker systems.

We are looking for a Team Leader Quality Incoming Quality Control 80-100% (f/m/d) who will lead quality technicians in
the GIS and GCB quality teams. You will be utilizing your management skills and experience to maintain a high level of
all material which enters our factory, establish and improve interfaces, and ensure adherence to the established
processes.

How you will make an impact

Strategic and operational management of the IQC team

-

Ensure strong communication and fast reaction time with operations for urgent cases in the production and with our
customers

-

Maintain inspection plans according to AQL and ISO standards for all material coming into the GIS and GCB factories

-

Foster a quality and continuous improvement culture in the team, utilizing data and KPIs to benchmark and improve the
IQC processes

Define and foster key partnerships within the organization, incorporating interfaces with them into the daily business

Oversee and update all required measurement equipment and relevant calibrations

Develop (recruit, train, mentor) quality technicians aligned with the LOM. Maintain Succession Plan

Drive improvements through the organization together with relevant interfaces, including production, logistics, R&D,
and sourcing

Leadership of 15 quality technicians across 4 locations

Your background

-

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering discipline or related discipline

-

More than 5 years of experience in various functions of quality management, program and project management

-

Leadership experience is prefered

-

Experience in quality management, operations, lean manufacturing processes and visual management is a must

-

Six Sigma Green Belt a plus

-

Fluency in English and German, written and verbally

-

SAP (S/4 Hana) good background
