Position
Your main responsibility is to ensure safe and reliable operation of our gas turbine products. Your focus is on
leading the engineering team developing and executing the control system for heavy-duty gas turbines.
Your tasks
Line manager and technical lead of the GT control system engineering & execution team • Developing and engineering the
GT control system hardware • Specifying GT monitoring systems and field instruments and designing I&C field loops •
Integrating and documenting GT protection requirements and safety instrumented systems in compliance with applicable
codes & standards • Configuring and executing the GT control system scope in the framework of GT customer projects
according to contractual requirements • Interfacing and coordinating with project management • Supporting erection and
commissioning activities from back office and on customer sites • Defining and optimizing technical guidelines and
engineering & execution processes.
Requirements
Your profile
Advanced degree in electrical/automation engineering or equivalent • 5+ years of professional experience in design and
project execution of automation systems in the field of power or process plant engineering • Familiar with design
directives and codes & standards in the field of automation, instrumentation, controls and functional safety • Strong
commitment to deliver solutions and results according to quality, time and cost targets • 2+ years of experience in a
line management role with proven leadership and mentoring skills • Very good command of English, German is an
advantage, further knowledge of Italian is an asset.
