We are looking for a R&D Operation Specialist with expertise in electrical engineering to work in our reliability,
electrical testing and chemistry research laboratories. Our new team member will contribute to the semiconductor
packaging and reliability research at our research center in Baden-Dättwil/CH.
How you’ll make an impact
-
Plan, design and build new test setups for state-of-the-art reliability and power module testing including development
of control software and databases

Define test plans, experimental procedures and equipment to be used together with project managers and scientific
staff members
-
Prepare the necessary test setups, execute as well as evaluate experiments
-
Take over lab responsibility after introduction period including test schedule management
-
Maintain and continuously improve the laboratory infrastructure, build prototypes and systems suitable for laboratory
testing
-
Ensure that safety and laboratory processes are followed and contribute to process improvements
-
Build a network in the company and actively distribute your knowledge and expertise
Your background
-
Completed technical education and training (e.g. industry electrician or mechatronics engineering), or
Bachelor/Master’s degree of an University of Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering or similar
-
Strong background related to electrical measurements, CAD software and LabView programming; knowledge in Python is an
advantage
-
Hands-on attitude with practical experience in laboratory work and know-how in experimental techniques

Enthusiastic, self-motivated mindset with team player attitude and creativity
-
Highly conscientious individual with keen sense of responsibility
-
Relevant work experience in industrial R&D and reliability labs is an advantage

Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
