Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w)
Your responsibility
- development, documentation and release of complex industrial systems used for manufacturing semiconductor laser
diodes
- create manufacturing documents and handle the purchasing of components
- development of entire systems, including mechanical parts, pneumatics and vacuum technology
- support for ongoing process development in manufacturing technology
- communicating and coordinating with internal and external partners and suppliers
- developing and setting up production pilot and prototype systems
- supporting various organizational units with your expertise
Your profile
- mechanical engineer with bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a degree of a
technical apprenticeship (mechatronics / construction / polymechanics) with further education as HF or FH Engineer
- several years of experience in engineering production equipment and tooling
- you enjoy an independent way of working
- proficiency with CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks)
- familiarity with basic principles of electrical engineering
- solution-oriented, structured, precise way of working
- good verbal and written technical communication skills in German and basic knowledge of English
