Job reference: WD-0036167 What's the role? As a Lean Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and
innovation at Hilti. Imagine earning the trust of stakeholders and business leaders as you develop and strengthen the
Lean mindset across the organization. You'll lead lean initiatives and complex lighthouse projects on a global scale,
making a significant impact on our operations.
Your role will involve coaching and upskilling the organization on LEAN principles, systems, and methods to drive
end-to-end improvements and sustainability. You'll live and demonstrate a strong business acumen, listening and
understanding the business to naturally incorporate the lean mindset and support the respective business strategy.
You'll co-develop and coordinate LEAN programs with business and global process managers across functions and local
organizations. Owning and maintaining Lean systems, methods, and platforms to drive operational excellence will be a
key part of your responsibilities.
Moreover, you'll facilitate value stream projects and kaizen/problem-solving workshops globally, creating a tangible
impact. Assessing the business based on our world-class Lean Assessment for sites in advanced maturity on Lean and
supporting the assessment of more mature sites will enable you to create a roadmap for the next 12-18 months.

impact every day. What does the role involve? With this role you will be key driver for overseeing and optimizing
Logistics management of our production network. Which involves Inbound logistics, Inventory optimization, production
flow and Warehouse and Distribution management within the individual plant as well as across our Global production
Network. You will be collaborating with key peers in the organization like Business Units and Global Logistics.
By leading process communities, you will be responsible for the definition, implementation and improvement of state of
the art process management system (process, data, system, organizational structure) with the objective of increasing
customer experience, employee experience, efficiency & effectiveness, and compliance for a business process
Enables efficient onboarding of new users, qualification of experts by knowledge management through adequate
documentation and providing trainings. You will report on the progress KPIs, suggest and support local improvement
actions, lead workshops with internal and, occasionally, external stakeholders (e.g. consultants, software

- Masters or bachelors in Engineering or Business Administration or relevant degree
- Extensive experience leading LEAN implementation (line or project) across different parts of an enterprise and in an

- Experience leading and driving strategic lean transformation projects, with demonstrated skills in value stream
mapping.
- Experience in coaching & training others on how to do LEAN from a central role / location
- Experience in facilitating Kaizen workshops, root cause problem solving and driving LEAN projects
