East, we offer comprehensive, fully customized solutions for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aircraft engines,
airframes and components sales business including impeccable technical support to over 500 customers worldwide. Our
mission: We safely power your flight. As a Supervisor GTF - Engine Line you will be assigned to the New Engines
organization, acting as Supervisor within the engine shop operational organization taking care of Disassembly and
Assembly of GTF engines, as such: leading people, managing processes, projects and tasks to realize the goals and
missions of the organization.
Your tasks
- Lead, coach and deploy the team to meet plan, quality and delivery targets; monitor working hours and optimise
staffing to events.
- Ensure strict adherence to methods, procedures and safety standards; promote a positive Safety Culture and fulfil
SMS duties.
- Coordinate training, conduct PMP reviews, instruct staff on deviations, audit findings and customer feedback, and
initiate corrective actions.
- Oversee AD, manuals and documentation use in the shop; ensure technical and administrative tasks are completed to
standard.
- Drive 5S and Lean Six Sigma; plan service times, schedules and continuous improvement of shop processes and KPIs.
- Maintain industrial hygiene, safety and work quality per QSS; act as point of contact for authorities and customers
as needed.
Your Profile
- 5+ years in aircraft/turbine engine maintenance in a shop, hangar, or MRO environment.
- 5+ years as a supervisor or lead technician.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, documentation (AMM/CMM/IPC), and safety standards and quality.
- Proven ability to manage workflow, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems. Microsoft Office required; SAP is an advantage.
- English B2+ (German is a plus).
