Are you passionate about driving strategic initiatives and ensuring transparency across international projects? As our
new Project Portfolio Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping a cross-country, cross-functional project
portfolio aligned with our business objectives. Join our dynamic CIO Office team at our headquarters in Härkingen, and
help us strengthen IT governance and enable efficient decision-making across the organization.
Project Portfolio Specialist
100% (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain a centralized, transparent project portfolio to support strategic decision-making at company
level
- Monitor and develop the company-wide project and initiative portfolio across all business units and international
teams (IT, Operations, Sales, HR)
- Evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate initiatives in close collaboration with stakeholders and department heads
- Introduce standardized portfolio management processes, KPIs, and reporting structures, including preparation of
reports and decision templates for management
- Ensure transparency and control over resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies within the portfolio
- Contribute to the improvement of tools, templates, and reporting systems for portfolio management
- Develop and implement governance frameworks and methodologies to enhance transparency and decision-making
- Support the IT-related internal control system (ICS) and coordinate internal and external audits (e.g. IATF 16949,
VDA ISA)
- Act as a key contact person between business units, IT, compliance, internal audit, and international teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, or information systems
- Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner are desirable; knowledge of governance frameworks like COBIT or
ITIL is an asset
- Several years of experience in portfolio management or enterprise PMO, ideally in an international environment
- Strong analytical skills with a structured, solution-oriented, and proactive approach
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing cross-departmental collaboration
- Familiarity with audit standards and internal control systems (e.g. ICS, IATF 16949, VDA ISA)
- Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools such as ServiceNow or MS Project
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and moderation skills to engage effectively across all levels
- Proficient in German and English; other languages are a plus in our multicultural environment
