mission: We safely power your flight. As a IT System Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing
both IT and OT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across workplace applications, IT systems, network
components, and peripheral devices. You will play a critical role in securing, supporting, and optimizing
mission-critical systems within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Your tasks
- Monitor, diagnose and resolve complex IT/OT issues through proactive onsite troubleshooting and specialised support.
- Ensure the security, reliability and compliance of local IT/OT infrastructure and networks.
Assess business requirements on site and design robust infrastructure architectures and IT systems.
- Evaluate and recommend IT hardware, operating systems and application software for demanding industrial environments.
- Coordinate with third-party engineers, control system integrators and external vendors to implement and maintain
solutions.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for systems, configurations, procedures and standards.
- Monitor the lifecycle of system components, planning upgrades, replacements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering or a related field, ideally complemented by relevant
technology certifications.
- Proven experience providing IT/OT support in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong hands-on skills with Windows, Azure, Active Directory, VMware, network protocols and Microsoft 365 (Exchange
Online, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Intune).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and practices; certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco or ISA/IEC 62443 are
a strong plus.
- Practical experience with industrial PCs, embedded platforms and legacy systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to master complexity and structure
work effectively.
- Independent, pragmatic working style and fluency in German and English.
