Application Engineer (m/f/d) - Körber Pharma Fargo
In this exciting and versatile position you will work at the site in Grabs (Switzerland) and support the Körber Pharma
Fargo (USA) sales department in all technical matters and develop optimal solutions for customer enquiries.
Your role in our team
- Review technical requirement details to develop proposals that meet customer specifications
- Generate technical drawings and documents, in support of machinery sales (format drawings, process flow diagrams,
line layout drawings, etc.)
- Compile budgetary estimates for new machinery projects in early planning phases, to facilitate customer budgeting
processes
- Work with the Körber Pharma Fargo operations team to ensure accurate sales project & timeline forecasts are given
when preparing proposals
- Attend sales, project review, design review, and factory acceptance testing meetings in support of new machinery
projects
- Develop conceptual designs
- Review and comment on customer’s specifications for compliance or deviation to requirements
- Select third party equipment and component suppliers
- Work with third party suppliers to develop equipment specifications
- Communicate openly, honestly, and constructively
- Assist to identify future customer needs to support growth in company sales revenue
- Work with other members of the sales, service and marketing team to achieve common goals
- Work closely with the Körber Pharma Fargo applications and sales team to develop the appropriate solution to meet
the customers’ requirements
Your profile
You possess a strong technical affinity and the ability to communicate complex topics in a way that is tailored to the
target audience. You are a communicative and customer-oriented professional with a confident demeanour and excellent
team skills. Furthermore, you are distinguished by a high level of initiative, flexibility, and dedication.
- Completed apprenticeship as mechanical design engineer or comparable qualification
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering / automation engineering or other higher
education (HF)
- Several years of professional experience in Mechanical Design or a comparable field
- Good Knowledge with 3D CAD
- Fluent English and German skills (spoken/written)
- Willingness to travel international (min 30%)
