Administrative Assistant for the Tumor Profiler Center 30 - 40 %

The Tumor Profiler Center Switzerland (TPC) is a consortium of basic scientists and clinicians from ETH Zürich,
University of Zurich (UZH), and University Hospital Basel (USB).
The center employs cutting-edge, integrated, multi-omics tumor profiling techniques and advanced artificial
intelligence algorithms to support clinical decision-making in precision oncology, to guide individualized cancer
treatment plans. In addition to supporting clinical practice, TPC is committed to driving exploratory research to
advance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms involved in cancer development.
One of the research groups of the Department of Quantitative Biomedicine supports the hiring of an Administrative
Assistant to support the Program Management needs for the Tumor Profiling Center.
Your responsibilities
- administrative and operational support (scheduling/coordinating meetings, assist with minute-taking/attendance
tracking, assist with record keeping, coordination of basic communications)
- event and meeting support (logistical support for Board meetings, scientific workshops and symposia, coordination of
schedule/applications for meetings, perparation of printed/event materials)
- project coordination (work with program managers to maintain and update project timelines, budgets, and resource
allocation records)
- document and information management (maintain centralized records and shared drives, collaborate with program
managers to create and distribute meeting agendas, ensure clear organization of files and documentation for reference
and reporting)
Your profile
You preferably have a:
- completed commercial apprenticeship (KV EFZ) or equivalent training in administration or office management
- strong communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
- solid user knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- you are comfortable working with various digital communication platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Slack) and you are
reliable, organized, and able to work independently within a dynamic research environment
