Job Description
As a Standardization Engineer at Evatec, you develop product standards, manage classifications in SAP S/4HANA®,
coordinate with OEMs, oversee standard part lifecycles, and ensure documentation and CAD/PDM libraries align with
internal norms.
What you will be doing
- check Further develop product standardization: you analyze existing structures and develop new standards for our
product landscape
- check Implement and maintain product classification in SAP S/4HANA®: you ensure a consistent data foundation and
clear system logic
- check Technical interface to OEM suppliers: you define Evatec-specific standard parts and support new developments
- check Lifecycle management of standard parts: you coordinate phase-in/phase-out processes in close collaboration
with Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain
- check Document factory standards & maintain CAD/PDM library: you keep our technical standards up to date and
actively contribute to the phase-out process
What you should bring
- check Technical foundation: Education or professional experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,
microtechnology, or a comparable field. A university degree is not required
- check System affinity & tool experience: you are familiar with ERP and PLM systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA®), MS Office,
and ideally also with CAD/PDM tools such as Autodesk Inventor and Vault
- check Structure & precision: you work diligently, have a keen eye for detail, and bring clarity to complex data
structures
- check Analytical hands-on mindset: you think in a solution-oriented and pragmatic way, and tackle technical
challenges efficiently
- check Communicative & open: you are a team player, resilient, fluent in German and English, and open to exploring
new topics
