Position
Position Summary
Global Product Marketing Lead – Digital Implantology (CCS) is responsible for driving the market expansion and
commercial success of Straumann Digital Implantology – a diverse portfolio comprising surgical treatment planning
software, patient-specific design services and integrated digital dentistry workflows, including Straumann coDiagnostiX
and Smile in a Box. This position will play a key role in driving the next generation of Straumann digital solutions,
supporting the long-term strategic aspirations of the fast-growing CCS business.
The Global Product Marketing Lead - Digital Implantology will lead commercialization of this exciting market
opportunity by developing go to market strategy, business models and value propositions for the different customer
segments, collecting voice of customer (VOC) and voice of market (VOM) and liaising with the group’s business units,
brands and other stakeholders in a fast moving, high growth, matrix organization. The role will focus on
commercialization and will collaborate with a team of experienced colleagues in product management, sales and marketing
from several business units and regions in a highly collaborative effort to grow Digital Implantology adoption
exponentially.
This newly created position reports to the Head of Product Marketing – CCS. The role is global in scope, based in
Basel, Switzerland, and requires significant presence in the countries with approximately 20-30% travel required.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement go to market strategies for different market segments including General Practitioners,
Specialists, Dental Service Organizations and Universities
- Create and implement new business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, long term
profitability and connect customers to the Straumann platform
- Co-develop value proposition, sales- and marketing plans, campaigns and selling tools
- Lead and manage voice of customer (VOC) and voice of market (VOM) activities
- Collaborate with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders concerning product launch, development and
commercialization
- Develop and maintain domain expertise on new technologies and intelligence on market development and competitive
landscape
- Lead and be accountable for the commercial readiness of new product / feature launches for your portfolio, in
collaboration with an extended supporting team.
- Drive close collaboration with colleagues in various global subsidiaries to develop country-specific
commercialization strategies and share best practices.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business.
- Minimum 5 years total professional work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience and proven success in product management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the medical device or dental industry
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of digital solutions in dentistry
- Experience in managing product development projects from concept to launch preferred
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset
- Comfortable with up to 20-30% travel
