Position
As Sales Manager you will be responsible for the development, offering and negotiation for power plant projects on
global basis.
Your tasks
- ·From pre-acquisition over acquisition and tendering to negotiation and handover to execution you will lead sales
projects on an international basis
- ·Generate profitable sales from new and existing customers in the Service market of H and F-class Heavy Duty Gas
Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators for the Company’s goals and strategy regarding order intake, turnover, profit
and margin.
- ·Represent the sales projects and Ansaldo Energia externally and drive the sales projects along internal processes.
In particular:
- Lead and manage the sales process and contract negotiations for Service Contracts up-grade projects and general sales
- Develop and maintain long term relationship with customers
- Represent Ansaldo at industry meetings, trade shows and conferences
- Gather market and competitive intelligence commercial strategies
- Effectively Increase and maintain your knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and
customer base
- Take an active part in improving & maintaining the process and tools used in the activities.
Requirements
Your profile
- Master’s degree in engineering, or business administration along with experience in offering and selling large
complex products or solutions
- Experience in negotiations of large scale projects
- Knowledge of power plants technology, main products such as gas turbines and steam turbines as well as cost
parameters of power projects
- Reliable, creative, flexible and enthusiastic team player
- Ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations
- Willing to travel frequently (up to 30% globally), also on short notice
- Excellent command of English, German is an advantage, further knowledge of Italian would be an asset
- Good degree of interpersonal skills & good communicator
- Critical thinking, problem solving & analytical skills
