The Department of Psychology at the University of Zurich, seeks applications for a tenured, full-time position in
Cultural Psychology.
With its wide-ranging research and teaching activities, the Department of Psychology offers a rich academic
environment that values scientific exchange and cooperation. The Department of Psychology endorses open science
practices that lead to transparent, reproducible and replicable research.
Your responsibilities
- This position has a strong focus on research but also encompasses teaching of two classes of 90 min per week, each
(in German or English).
- Candidates are expected to deliver high-quality teaching, develop and implement an engaging curriculum in cultural
psychology, and advise students in this area.
Your profile
Candidates should hold a PhD in psychology (or related disciplines), have an excellent track record of academic
achievements showing both a strong theoretical focus and emphasis on robust, replicable empirical results in the field
of cultural psychology, and demonstrate willingness to collaborate actively with researchers from related disciplines.
