Could you be the full-time Sales Engineer Services (f/m/d) in Zurich we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich
site servs as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for
locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our
product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings
cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to
Alessandro Sigrist, Head of Services Tenders & Business Development and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic
team.
We’ll look for you to:
- Identify and cultivate sales opportunities within our extensive Services Portfolio, which includes Modernizations,
Innovations, Maintenance, Spare Parts, and Repairs
- Promote our internally developed second source solutions such as brake discs/pads, dampers, traction solutions, etc.
- Increase the Parts & Overhaul business together with our Competence Service Centers in Europe
- Manage the Swiss market intelligence database in Salesforce and create visibility on upcoming Business Opportunities
- Drive business opportunities in the Business Development & Pre-tendering stage and set a compelling tender strategy
- Understand customer problems and claims, solve them and pave the road for future business
- Industry networking and communication (as an ambassador of our local Service activities)

- A technical / engineering background will definitely help you to understand our customer needs
- Relevant experience in Sales & Business Development will support you in proposing the appropriate solutions to the
respective customer need
- Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in French is an advantage
- Strong creativity, customer-orientation and agility
- Confident appearance; extroverted, communicative and persistent
- Open to travel up to 50% mainly within Switzerland
