This position reports to
Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the definition of production processes to ensure the
optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of products. Each day, you will participate in the sequence
definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes and products. You
will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams to improve efficiency. The work model
for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Traction business area in Untersiggenthal. Main
stakeholders are production teams, Engineering (focus on design for manufacturing), and quality control. The work model
for the role is: #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Preparing technical documentation regarding process
phases, related methods, and cycle times. • Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct
staff. • Supporting Digitalization of manufacturing processes (e.g. PLM, MES) • Participating in the definition of
action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during internal and
external process and equipment start-up.
Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in working with production process optimization tools and method-ologies and the industrial
automation market.
- You have few years of relevant experience in production engineering, including experience with process optimization
and cycle time analysis. (Optional: working as Production Engi-neer with machinery and automation systems.)
- You possess an advanced knowledge of production management software such as SAP and MES systems.
- You are passionate about collaboration and problem-solving and are innovative in process improvements and efficiency
enhancements.
- Completed apprenticeship and further education in the technical field (e.g., Technician).
- Fluency in German is required (at least C1); good knowledge in English is an advantage.
