This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will optimize production processes by implementing automation technologies, Lean methodologies, and
data-driven decision-making. You will drive digital transformation by supporting MES and SAP S/4HANA implementation,
ensuring seamless data integration and workflow efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead
continuous improvement initiatives, introduce new technologies, and apply project and change management principles.
With strong communication skills, you will translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights and training
sessions, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence. The work model for the role is: hybrid
#LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the division Motion System Drives Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Production
and Planning. You will be mainly accountable for: • Optimizing production processes by implementing automation
technologies and developing automated testing procedures to enhance efficiency and quality. • Implementing digital
solutions like MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless data entry (Single Data Entry),
and leveraging IT to streamline production and logistics. • Analyzing production data, integrating systems (SAP, MES),
and developing KPIs and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. • Applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
methodologies to reduce waste, improve shop floor processes, and enhance resource efficiency as well as leading
continuous improvement projects, introducing new technologies, training employees, and fostering a proactive CI culture
through communication and problem-solving workshops.
Qualifications for the role
- You hold a degree or completed technical training in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Production
Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You are highly skilled in Lean methodologies and Six Sigma (Green Belt) and have experience optimizing production
processes.
- You possess strong knowledge of MES systems, digitalization in manufacturing, and data integration between SAP, MES,
and IoT.
- You are adept at data-driven decision-making, using analytics tools to optimize production and logistics processes
as well as expertise in automation technologies and their application in manufacturing to enhance efficiency.
- You have established skills in project management and change management, supporting teams through process
transitions.
- You have excellent communication skills, simplifying complex technical concepts and conducting training sessions
effectively, with fluency in German and English.
- You hold a valid Swiss work permit or are eligible to work in Switzerland.
