The opportunity
You will act as the technical conscience of our GIS (gas-insulated switchgear) product portfolio by being responsible
for our product master data. We offer you a job in a dynamic and agile environment with ambitious goals in a modern R&D
department. You will work at the intersection of technology, product development and production of high voltage
switchgear. You will work and be integrated in a team of experts in the field of high voltage switchgear technologies
and thus have the possibility to extend and deepen your knowledge.
How you’ll make an impact

Responsible for products from our GIS portfolio
-
Elaborating innovative product solutions following standards, design rules, guidelines, and internal processes

Ensuring quality of suppliers, production locations and parts
-
Managing small development projects
-
Collaborating with globally distributed partners e.g. R&D Centers, Product Management, Supply Chain Management,
Production Lines, Sales
-
Analyzing and solving interdisciplinary problems in test laboratories and in production lines
Your background
-
Mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, physicist or closely related fields with at minimum a Master’s degree or a
Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in a related field
-
Apprenticeship as a designer is a plus
-
High voltage switchgear experience is desirable but not a must
-
Ability to work well in a multicultural, multidisciplinary and globally distributed team
-
Creative, independent and solution-oriented approach
-
Software skills or open to acquiring them (MS Office, 3D CAD, ERP)
-
Good knowledge of English and German
