tissue-penetrating light as a trigger. We are looking for a PhD candidate to join our research group at the Department
of Chemistry of the University of Zurich. Our interdisciplinary research merges organic chemistry, photochemistry, and
biology, and pushes the boundaries of applied photochemistry. Our tools help unravel biological processes and advance
drug delivery solutions. Our ultimate goal is to push the frontiers of medicine by enabling next-generation and
personalized therapies. The position is fully funded by the SNSF Starting Grant for four years. Please visit our
website for more information.
Your responsibilities
As a PhD candidate you will embark on an exciting journey to conquer the energy gap law by pioneering a ra-tional
