The Institute of Molecular Biology and Biophysics at ETH Zurich specializes in teaching and research with a focus on
biochemical fundamental studies. Our Institute hosts around 100 international researchers who investigate structures
and functions of essential protein complexes and the molecular mechanisms underlying cell functions. We invite
applications for the following position, starting as soon as possible or upon agreement.
Project background
Join our young, ambitious, and international research team focused on study of cytoskeleton-related protein complexes.
Our research employs cutting-edge structural biology methods, such as cryo-electron microscopy, alongside biochemical,
single-molecule, and cell biology techniques. In this role, you will support multiple projects, primarily through tasks
such as molecular cloning of multi-gene expression vectors, generating baculoviruses, and maintaining insect and
mammalian cell cultures.
