Technology infrastructure that can scale with our ambitions. As a member of the HR Leadership team, reporting to our
CPO, you would lead the Global HR Technology & Analytics strategy partnering closely with Regional HR, HR Centres of
Excellence (HR Clouds) and our Data & Tech (IT) organization.
This is a very exciting time in HR Technology – we have recently implemented SAP Employee Central, our new Global
HRIS, with multiple integrations to SAP modules and other global technologies (Employee Engagement, LMS, identity
management ...). You would roadmap and project manage implementation of our next generation HR technology products and
services ensuring projects are resourced, funded, designed, integrated, implemented, and adopted over multiple years
prioritising services and/or markets to fulfil business needs. A key outcome of this role is to elevate the Employee
and HR experience. In the next two year phase of our HR Tech roadmap you would prioritise the implementation of Payroll
& Time, Talent Management, HR Analytics / HR Data Lake, ServiceNow (Onboarding, HR Portal, Ticketing, Knowledge
Management) and more.
As a HRLT member we are looking for a senior HR professional with experience leading transformation, global HR
technology projects, introducing governance, developing business cases for new tech investments, carefully navigating
local and global needs, leading change management, driving behaviour change and adoption. Within HR Analytics you would
draw out the strategy to bring about high quality data in reporting and move slowly towards predictive analytics
through development of a HR Data Lake and PowerBI to interrogate it. You would also own Workforce Planning ensuring
adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud as our global headcount and cost planning tool in partnershi with HR Leaders and
Finance, co-leading the initiative to create high quality workforce planning data.
Responsibilities
- Take a Business / Manager / Employee centric approach to HR technology design, driving high quality data, adoption
and business value. Develop and execute a comprehensive Global Enterprise HR Technology strategy and road map aligned
with the Straumann Group’s HR priorities. Ensure budget and resources are aligned to support implementation, launch,
change management, training and maintenance.
- Drive the optimization of our existing Enterprise HR Technology ecosystem. Partner closely with other HR COEs
(Clouds), HR Regions / BUs and Data & Tech (IT) to assess needs, prioritize, define options, develop / deliver
solutions. Lead end-to-end implementation of existing and new Enterprise HR Technology solutions through all phases
including requirement development, design, implementation, testing, change management, and ongoing business process
reviews for feedback and improvements, ensuring seamless end-to-end integration and positive user experiences across
Straumann Group. Consistently scouting for emerging HR Technologies that could add value to our business.
- Ensure HR technology enables the entire talent lifecycle in close collaboration with Global HRSS and Data & Tech.
Oversee Enterprise HR technology configurations executed by Data & Tech Team for efficient and effective management of
global HR processes including ACR, Succession, Talent Reviews, Performance, Development. Recruiting, etc.
- Define global HR Reporting & Analytics Strategy in close collaboration with the GPO function and business. Oversee
the development and delivery of global HR reports, analytics & insights.
- Manage relationships with technology implementation suppliers during project preparation, implementations and
project closing, ensuring optimal performance, project cost & time management and alignment with project outcome
requirements and deliverables.
- Take a lead role in our HR Technology “Change Advisory Board” in partnership with our Data & Tech (IT) organization.
Lead, establish and roll-out governance frameworks to ensure technology consolidation, data compliance, data quality
and data security on a global scale.
- Drive global user adoption initiatives for enterprise HR technology solutions, providing training in collaboration
with Global HRSS and Data & Tech. Ensure systems are scalable and sustainable. Develop strategies for ongoing
technology support, continuous improvement in collaboration with Data & Tech.
- Establish global data governance to increase transparency, quality and accuracy of data & implement, maintain and
oversee global HR master data standards. Ensure global compliance with data privacy regulations and establish robust
governance practices on an international scale. Oversee, guide & support integration of new entities into our HR master
data system.
- Prepare, guide and support the GPO organization during the Global HR budgeting process (as part of the overall
Straumann Group budgeting period) in close collaboration with Group Controlling/Finance. Plan and manage capital
investment and operational expenses for Enterprise HR Technology implementations.
- Leadership responsibility for HR Technology & Analytics teams in HQ and in the Regions.
- Lead creation of high-quality strategic workforce planning data, and support answering high profile business
questions related to personnel costs, headcount planning, talent, skills / capability gaps, turnover, new location
analysis, comparing external benchmark data with internal people data.
Person Profile
- HR Leader with a broad understanding of HR, driving HR transformation and introducing scalable, efficient HR
technology solutions supporting global, regional and local needs. Experience being in a previous HRLT supporting HR
strategy design and mapping out the E2E employee experience, implementing new goverance and driving global adoption
would be beneficial.
- Strong people manager, able to build strong relationships internally & externally, with strong project and change
management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in HR, IT, Business or related field with a further 10+ years of experience in
managing global HR technology projects and implementations. Demonstrated experience in driving HR digital
transformation, developing business cases, technology adoption and user engagement at a global scale.
- Deep understanding of global HR reporting, building analytics capabilities (both technically and in people
capabilities), data privacy / compliance governance.
- Extensive experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central / SAP Analytics Cloud, and other
HR systems (we also use GLINT, Phenom People, Absorb, SAP SF, Docusign, Aconso ...). Experience leading implementation
partners for complex projects required.
- Strong knowledge of HR business processes, data management, with the ability to translate HR and business needs into
technology solutions. Excellent analytical and financial/budget management skills. Strategic mindset with a focus on
innovation, continuous improvement, leveraging technology to enhance the employee experience, supporting scalability
and efficiency.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
