In this role you will be part of the dispatch team of SWISS Technics located at Zurich Airport who is responsible for
managing the inbound and outbound logistics in a team working shift. (Mo-Su. 06:00 – 23:30)
- Perform and be responsible for the import- & export customs clearances for technical Aircraft material.
- Tender, organize, book and follow-up on shipments with Airlines and freight forwarding companies in accordance with
the applicable procedures and SOP’s.
- Pack and prepare shipping documents in accordance to the valid rules and regulations for Air, Road- and Seafreight.
- Update relevant shipment status information in the System.
- Pick-up and deliver Material to the freight department and escort trucks to and from the gates.
- Inspection, administration and storage of unserviceable parts (U/S)
- Packing of parts in accordance to the manufacturer- and ATA 300 specification
- Ensure that DG material is handled, stored and packed in accordance IATA DG regulations
- Loading and unloading of trucks

Requirements
- Education in freight forwarding, customs, or logistics management
- Several years of experience in logistics and supply chain, preferably within the aviation industry
- Certification in Dangerous Goods handling is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Forklift training is advantageous
- A valid Category B driving licenses is mandatory
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Familiarity with AMOS software is a plus
- Availability to work shifts, including early, late, and weekend hours
- Willingness to perform picket duty as required
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English
