We are seeking a highly skilled DVP Lead Group Accounting & Reporting to join our team at dormakaba Group, a global
leader in smart and secure access solutions. In this role, you will ensure accurate internal and external Group
Financial Reporting, oversee the Group Accounting Manual, and lead a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining
high-quality financial reporting in a complex, multinational environment.
This is a critical role that supports strategic decision-making, drives process optimization, and ensures compliance
with Swiss GAAP FER, SIX regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. You will interact with internal and
external stakeholders, including accounting teams around the globe, external auditors and senior management, to deliver
high-quality financial insights.
A job that matters: your responsibilities
Strategic Accounting & Reporting Leadership
- Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting in line with Swiss GAAP FER, SIX regulations, and statutory
requirements.
- Lead the Group Consolidation process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Oversee internal and external reporting, ensuring timely and transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Continuously improve and adopt Group Accounting policies and ensure compliance across all entities.
- Provide expert accounting advice on significant, unusual, or new transactions.
Process & System Optimization
- Support enhancement and optimization of financial reporting tools and data accessibility across the Group.
- Enhance automation and efficiency improvements in accounting and reporting processes.
- Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and internal reporting requirements.
Audit & Compliance Management
- Ensure effective internal controls (ICS), supporting compliance with accounting standards and regulatory
requirements.
- Manage the external audit process, including onboarding of new auditors and addressing key audit findings.
- Drive consistency and quality in statutory reporting across all legal entities.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of accounting professionals.
- Set clear goals, provide ongoing development opportunities, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and adherence to best practices in financial control and governance.
An experience that matters: your skills
- 10+ years of experience in Group Accounting, Consolidation, or Audit roles within a global organization.
- Deep knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and/or US GAAP, with experience in public listed companies being an
advantage.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and German
