WinGD is looking for a
Development Engineer Maintenance Tools
Responsibilities:
- Developing concepts and designs for the maintenance of 2-stroke marine engines.
- Elaborate 3D models, drawings and parts lists in NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM system.
- Carry out finite elements analysis with ANSYS FEM and evaluate the results.
- Cooperate with the local R&D team and work out suitable solutions.
- Handle incoming inquiries from customers (engine builders, shipyards, etc.).
- Collaborate with our outsourcing partners in China, Korea and India and ensure best drawing quality.
- Manage the lifecycles of the engines with PLM system.
- Ensure quality control according to standards, guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
- Development Engineer (B.Eng, or Master`s degree).
- Expertise in layout of mechanical designs or alternatively field service experience (min. 2 years, preferred heavy
industries).
- Knowledge of 3D CAD (preferred NX) and Product Lifecycle Management (preferred Teamcenter).
- Good command of English is mandatory, German language is beneficial.
- Highly motivated and willing to learn fast.
- Self-driven personality.
- Team player mentality.
