Il faut donc trouver des solutions qui présentent un bilan carbone négatif et permettent ainsi de compenser les émissions de CO\u003Csub>2\u003C\u002Fsub> restantes. Une solution courante consiste à planter des arbres. Pendant leur phase de croissance, ils éliminent le CO\u003Csub>2\u003C\u002Fsub> de l’air en développant de la biomasse.
