The opportunity
The Global Power+ Graduate Program is our flagship early career rotational program. It is available in 13 countries.
This opportunity exposes high-potential graduates to different roles and experiences across various Business Units and
Functions within Hitachi Energy. The program offers a unique learning and career development experience; it will take
you across (3) six-month long rotations (18 months in total). The second rotation may be done abroad, depending on your
chosen project and the availability of business opportunities. Focused on projects that broaden your skillset, each
rotation will be within a different segment of our business, which you will be able to choose yourself. You will join
us as a full-time employee, and from day one in the program, you will be in the driver’s seat of your career. The
Power+ Graduate Program is perfect if you are looking to fast-track your leadership potential and gain a well-rounded
business understanding that will enable you to step into professional life.
How you’ll make an impact

Featured Assignments: quality engineering, software engineering, consulting, sales, manufacturing operations, project
engineering, project management, R&D, and many more.

Explore your interests through challenging and impactful projects where you are fully integrated into the team

Actively participate in the graduate community with program participants from all the graduate program locations

Develop your strengths with the help of regular feedback on your performance and clearly established performance
objectives

Actively contribute to diverse networking sessions across the organization with high exposure to middle and upper
management

Cultivate our Diversity 360 mindset and incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion into your daily work.
Your background
-
Master’s degree in engineering within STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Math) related degrees, e.g. electrical
engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, industrial engineering, energy systems engineering, physics,
computer science, or a related discipline
-
No more than 2 years of professional experience within your field of studies by the start date
-
Excellent knowledge of English; German and additional languages are considered as an advantage
-
Valid work permit to work in Switzerland
-
Great collaboration skills and intercultural sensitivity
-
High level of drive and personal ownership
-
A genuine interest in making the future of energy more sustainable

The program's start date is 1st October 2025. The position will be open for applications until 30th April 2025. You
will receive information about the time plan for the continued process in the notification after the first selection
round. The date for the assessment center, which is the final step of the recruitment process, is planned to take place
on 11th June 2025.
