This position reports to
Lead Motion Manager Germany and Central Europe
Your role and responsibilities
In this key leadership role, you will strategically drive profitable growth through the local representation of the
ABB Motion businesses (divisions). You will oversee the country operations management of the businesses, including
Marketing, Sales, and Execution (Project Management, Service Operations). Furthermore, you will protect the Motion
Business from highly aggressive competition and position it as the partner of choice in the marketplace. The work model
for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid Your role and responsibilities: • Developing and sustaining a customer-centric
culture within the organization and across different teams and functions. • Building and maintaining strong
relationships with new and existing customers on a senior level to ensure superior customer experience. • Ensuring the
development of financial and business performance targets in line with Global Motion and Divisions’ Strategy as well as
ensuring the achievement through developing and executing plans. • Engaging and retaining our Motion talents together
with lifting the team competencies in both leadership and business/sales/market areas (upskilling, reskilling & talent
acquisition). • Ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement process, and integrity performance. •
Representing the ABB values and following group standards.
Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in running a front-end marketing and sales operation with P&L responsibility and
demonstrating profitable growth track record.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong background in Automation and Motion business as well as profound knowledge of the local market.
- Strong inclusive leadership mindset as well as a skill set and experience in performance management and business
development.
- Fluency in German and English, French is an advantage.
