AESA Cortaillod is an international high-tech SME located in Switzerland, canton of Neuchatel,
with offices in Germany and China. We develop and produce automatic test equipment (ATE) and
solutions for the electrical cable industry, addressing multiple market segments, including
telecom, energy, automotive, etc. In parallel, we supply quality integrated software towards yield
improvement. Established more than 40 years ago, we pride ourselves on constant innovation
and high quality-performance services to enhance our products and customer experiences.
Exports account for 95% of our sales.
To further strengthen our R&D Department, we are looking for a motivated R&D Engineer in
electronics. This person will mainly be in charge of developing and optimizing our measurement
instruments, as well as supporting customers on related requests.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Develop precision micro-ohmmeters and other metrological systems
- Develop, analyze and debug electronic circuits (analogic and digital)
- Optimize existent resistance bridges and its software
- Participate in the development, improvement, configuration and testing of automatic test
equipment
- Write technical documentation and application notes
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Support to after sales service and customers

Job Description
Qualifications / Skills
Education :MSc or equivalent (EPF or HES) in electronics
Experiences:
- Proficient in electronics, including HW and SW aspects
- Knowledge of RF and signal processing is a plus
- Knowledge of metrology is a plus
Others:
- Proactive and self-motivated person
- Autonomous and team oriented personality
- Inquisitive and curious with strong problem solving skills
- Rigorous and well-organized
- Good communicator
Languages :
- English: very good spoken and written
- French: recommended
