What's the role?
You will contribute to the global rollout of the IWMS/CAFM software Planon at Hilti. This challenging position
encompasses the entire spectrum of software implementation as well as a comprehensive understanding of company-wide
real estate and facility management. The complexity and high technological standard of new buildings as well as
established processes need to be managed and optimized.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 3-6 months.
What You'll do
As an intern in our department, you will play a crucial role in the IWMS/CAFM project team, contributing to the
deployment of advanced software solutions to enhance Hilti’s real estate and facility management. Working closely with
experienced professionals, you will design and implement data collection systems to monitor energy consumption, while
supporting global software rollouts. Your responsibilities will also include creating automated Power BI reports to
provide actionable insights, preparing and integrating master data with accuracy and consistency, and facilitating
seamless data exchange by integrating third-party systems. Additionally, you will leverage sensor technologies to
implement real-time monitoring and analysis of space utilization, driving operational efficiency and technological
innovation across our facilities.
Further down the road there are also options for writing a bachelor or master thesis in this field.
What You’ll Bring
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s / Master’s program in Real Estate/Facility Management, IT or business administration for
the internship period
- Good knowledge of MS Office and IT affinity. Knowledge in SAP is seen as an advantage but not necessary
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiar with an independent work style and ready to take responsibility in own area of competence
- Process-oriented thinking and interest in optimizing processes
- Fluency in spoken and written English and German
