Your Tasks
- Analyse requirements to derive and perform compliance Verification & Validation (V&V) tests for integrated software
and hardware components of Ground Based Training System (GBTS) products, with the aim of producing test procedures and
documentation for the coherent application of the V-model as per the system engineering processes, procedures and
quality management standards
- Develop methods and tools for the automatic testing of GBTS products of the new generation
- Support the definition and derivation of system requirements and specifications based on customer contracts, market
needs, new technologies and product lifecycle to design Pilatus training products for pilots and technicians with a
focus on Mission Planning System (MPS), Mission Debriefing System (MDS) or Computer-Based Training (CBT) and e-learning
management systems
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders and support the technical activities required to design the system architecture,
including inputs from hardware and software engineers to ensure correct, testable and verifiable system implementation
with full requirements traceability
- Support system integration, installation and through-life activities, cooperating with technical experts and
specialists, project management, quality management, suppliers and customers to ensure GBTS products issues are
tracked, managed and resolved rigorously and timely
- Write and review technical documentation as part of the project/product lifecycle, inclusive of technical memos and
specifications as well as system requirements and design specifications whilst applying the ISO 15288 guidelines
With this you convince us
- Master degree in Software, Electronic or Aeronautical Engineering with a focus on complex systems; ISTQB or
equivalent certification is a plus
- At least five (5) years of experience as a System Engineer with complex hardware/software systems for mission
planning and debriefing systems or distributed e-learning in the aerospace sector, inclusive of executing system
lifecycles and adhering to quality management standards
- Experience with system engineering methodologies (e.g., ISO 15288) as well as with tools for requirements management
(e.g., DOORS), agile project management (e.g., Jira), configuration management (e.g., Teamcenter) and general
productivity (e.g., MS Office)
- Excellent social and communication skills with a fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to structure and prioritize tasks on parallel activities with tight deadlines, working equally well in a
team or individually with a proactive attitude and flexible mindset
- Willingness to travel internationally is mandatory, as occasionally required
