Your Tasks
- Design and implement military pilot training systems IT architecture (e.g., flight simulators, computer based
training software, etc.). This includes the data networking solution, data storage and backup, selection of hardware
components and coordination of suppliers as required
- IT infrastructure implementation and support at customer site (worldwide), including maintenance personnel training
and annual support visits as necessary.
- Processing of customer technical queries and malfunctions for all fielded systems
- Creation of technical documents (design, configuration) following the Pilatus engineering processes based on ISO
15288 and ISO 12207
- Supporting internal teams with IT infrastructure
- Analyse market technology and competitors' products to identify customer needs and new potential product developments
With this you convince us
- Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with at least five (5) years of working experience in IT
systems architecture design and maintenance
- Knowledge of Hardware, Operating Systems (Windows & Linux), Active Directory, Backup Systems, Databases and Network
Infrastructure
- Experience working cross-functionally and synthesizing feedback from product management, engineering, and marketing
teams
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to diverse teams; capable of
working autonomously and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
- Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level or equivalent); German language skills are an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete
design implications
