You’ll make an impact by
- Gaining a comprehensive overview and understanding of global cybersecurity legislations, technical standards, and
emerging regulatory initiatives, and analyzing how they interlink; providing expert support and guidance to
stakeholders at Siemens Smart Infrastructure to implement relevant requirements in their daily operations
- Representing Siemens Smart Infrastructure in internal bodies (e.g., Technical Regulation and Standardization
Committee or Market Access Conditions) and external expert networks (e.g., standardization bodies, industry
associations), ensuring compliance and proactive engagement
- Collaborating closely with business units (mainly R&D, Product Security), Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Siemens
Headquarters, Governmental Affairs, Legal, Data Privacy, Communication, and beyond, to ensure alignment on security and
regulatory matters
- Preparing Siemens Smart Infrastructure for global trends such as decoupling and glocalization, as well as strategic
shifts like the expansion of digital and software businesses, ensuring compliance with evolving cybersecurity
regulations
- Building and maintaining a strong internal network of cybersecurity experts, enabling fast and reliable responses to
requests and promoting Siemens Smart Infrastructure's needs in relevant national and international standards
- Ensuring that cybersecurity deficiencies and risks are transparently communicated to management, providing clear
insights for informed decision-making
- Handling complex regulatory topics with pragmatism, guiding the organization through regulatory requirements while
maintaining compliance and operational efficiency
You excel in
- Education
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field, with a
solid foundation in laws and regulations related to cybersecurity
- Experience & Skills
- Profound knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and NIST, providing a strong basis for
ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity regulations
- Long-term experience in working within governmental and regulatory environments, with a deep technical understanding
of how cybersecurity intersects with regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, enabling you to work effectively with various
stakeholders and translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business practices

- A pragmatic approach to navigating regulatory environments, balancing compliance with operational efficiency, and
maintaining a strong standing with governmental agencies
