Job Purpose:
As a Business & Strategy Analyst, you will play a key role in driving strategic insights and initiatives that support
our company’s growth agenda. We are particularly looking for candidates with a background in consulting, combined with
strong analytical capabilities, data fluency, and a solid understanding of business and industry dynamics. You will
work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and business execution — helping drive growth, competitiveness, and
smarter decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market dynamics, customer behaviors, and industry trends to
identify growth opportunities, shifts in demand, and emerging strategic risks. Translate insights into clear
implications for business strategy, portfolio development, and commercial planning.
• Competitive & Sector Analysis: Deliver high-impact competitive intelligence by benchmarking key players, evaluating
strategic positioning, and assessing market entry, pricing, and innovation trends. Inform go-to-market strategies and
support strategic differentiation efforts across business units.
• Strategy Support for Key Initiatives: Provide structured and ad hoc strategic analyses to support corporate
initiatives, strategic reviews, and C-level decisions. Synthesize internal and external data into executive-ready
insights and scenarios to guide investment priorities and strategic choices.
• Insights on Group Strategy & Reporting: Enhance strategic reporting and planning through robust insight generation
that supports recurring Group-level communications, strategic planning cycles, and strategic thought leadership
publications (e.g., whitepapers, strategic reviews).
• Insight Enablement & Collaboration: Act as a strategic sparring partner across business units, collaborating with
analytics, commercial, and innovation teams to frame business problems, design research plans, and guide data-informed
decisions aligned with strategic priorities.
• Strategic Use of Analytical Tools (as Enabler): Leverage dashboards and analytical tools (developed with
analytics/tech teams) to enable scenario planning, customer segmentation, and opportunity sizing — ensuring tools serve
strategic, not purely operational, purposes.
• Data Integrity & Insight Credibility: Advocate for high-quality data and insight governance standards, ensuring all
outputs used for strategic decision-making are robust, trusted, and aligned with privacy and compliance requirements.
Drive adoption of the insight by upskilling key stakeholders.
• Insight Communication & Visualization: Translate complex insights into compelling presentations, clear messaging,
and impactful storytelling. Leverage strong visualization techniques to ensure strategic narratives resonate with
senior stakeholders and drive informed decision-making across the organization.
• Ways of Working & Collaboration: Foster a collaborative, engaging environment through a flexible, agile team setup
that supports cross-functional problem-solving and adapts to evolving strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or a related field, preferably within life
sciences, healthcare, or technology sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is
an advantage.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in advanced analytics and data analysis, with experience using tools like Excel,
PowerBI, SQL, or similar platforms for reporting and visualization. Strong understanding of financial modeling,
forecasting, and scenario planning. Exposure to cloud-platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake,
BigQuery, Redshift) preferred.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex
ideas and data insights to a wide range of audiences. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic
alignment.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in solving complex business challenges through innovative and data-driven
approaches. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Project Management Skills, including experience in meeting timelines and achieving strategic objectives.
• Proficiency in Strategic Frameworks e.g., SWOT, PESTEL
