Ziel ist es, Bauprozesse effizienter und günstiger zu machen – und damit neue Möglichkeiten für nachhaltige Verkehrssysteme zu schaffen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>Internationale Wettbewerbe als Innovationsmotor\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp class=\"ps-2\">Im September 2021 erreichte das Team an der «Not-a-boring-Competition» in Kalifornien den zweiten Platz und gewann den Innovationsaward für seine Tunnelbohrmaschine. Für Lukas ist klar: Das Projekt ist damit nicht abgeschlossen. &nbsp;\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp class=\"ps-2\">«Geplant sind Aktivitäten mit europäischen Teams sowie ein Event in der Schweiz, an dem wir unser neues Design präsentieren. Parallel dazu steht die Rekrutierung neuer Teammitglieder im Fokus. Da Studierende ihr Engagement mit anderen Verpflichtungen vereinbaren müssen, kommt es zu Wechseln und die Sicherstellung des Wissenstransfers zentral. «Die Lernkurve war steil und dieses Know-how soll nicht verloren gehen.»\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>Technik lebt vom Testen und vom Austausch\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp class=\"ps-2\">Rückblickend sieht Lukas vor allem einen Punkt mit Verbesserungspotenzial: mehr Tests. «Innert drei Monaten haben wir eine komplett neue Maschine gebaut – am Ende fehlte schlicht die Zeit, alles ausreichend zu testen.» Für kommende Projekte soll deshalb die Zusammenarbeit mit Industriepartnern weiter intensiviert werden. Diese sei für beide Seiten ein Gewinn: Studierende profitieren vom Praxiswissen, Unternehmen lernen potenzielle Fachkräfte kennen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>Warum Technik fasziniert\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp class=\"ps-2\">Was Lukas an der Technik besonders begeistert, ist ihre Greifbarkeit. «Am Ende sieht man ein Resultat – zum Beispiel einen Tunnel.» Als Leiter eines interdisziplinären Teams mit rund 20 Studierenden erlebt er täglich, wie unterschiedliche Perspektiven zusammenkommen. «Es gibt selten nur eine richtige Lösung. Innovation entsteht dort, wo verschiedene Ansätze zusammengeführt werden.»\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>Fähigkeiten und Interessen bei der Studienwahl berücksichtigen\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp class=\"ps-2\">Schulabgängerinnen und Schulabgängern rät Lukas, offen zu bleiben und die eigene Komfortzone zu verlassen. «Wichtig ist nicht nur, was man schon gut kann, sondern was einen wirklich interessiert. Meine Erfahrung zeigt, dass man in der Regel weiterkommt, wenn man sich fragt, was motiviert mich und worauf bin ich neugierig?
