Research Technician
Mission
The Laboratory of Microbiology and Microtechnology at EPFL focuses on bacterial physiology, antibiotic tolerance, and
host-pathogen interactions. Our research combines state-of-the-art optical and atomic force microscopy, microfluidics,
tissue engineering, molecular biology, bacterial genetics, and single-cell analysis. We are looking for a highly
motivated and enthusiastic Research Technician to join our team full-time.
Main duties and responsibilities

General laboratory management

Maintenance of cell stocks, plasmids, and reagent databases

Providing technical assistance to other lab members
-
Experimental design and execution
-
Data analysis and presentation
Your profile
-
A Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) or equivalent, or a BSc/MSc in a related field
-
Experience in laboratory organization and management
-
Strong attention to detail, precision, and organizational skills
-
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
-
At least two years of hands-on laboratory experience
