Lead and develop the quality team, ensuring the right skills and capabilities
-
Champion a culture of shared quality ownership across the GCoC, act as a change agent, promoting accountability and
operational excellence (lead time, cost, inventory)
-
Influence stakeholders and coach teams to resolve quality issues at the source
-
Maintain and improve quality systems, internal controls, and compliance (including corporate and regulatory standards)
across all functions
-
Represent the Voice of the Customer through feedback and complaint resolution
-
Drive resolution of top quality issues, monitor KPIs, and lead audits, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy’s quality
framework.
-
Deploy continuous improvement strategies using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies
-
Collaborate with SCM to ensure supplier quality and alignment with standards
Your Background
-
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering—or equivalent in Quality

-
Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
-
Strong coaching, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
-
Certified Green or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma
-
Proficient in quality tools (8D, DFMEA, PFMEA) and continuous improvement
-
Experience in electromechanical or electronic manufacturing; energy or power electronics sector is a plus
-
