Head Group Procurement 100% (w/m)
Your tasks:
- Responsible for Global (Matrix) Organization of Group Procurement and direct leadership of Category Managers
worldwide.
- Define Global Procurement Strategy: Align with corporate objectives, cost optimization, and supply security.
- Cost Optimization and Efficiency Improvement: Initiatives to reduce procurement costs and enhance processes.
- Digitalization and Process Standardization: Implement global standards, tools, and platforms for purchasing (e.g.,
Purchase-to-Pay processes, collaboration tools).
- Execution of BU Strategies including strategic initiatives related to Global Procurement.
- Support and Advise Management on all procurement-related matters for products, services, and personnel across the
entire group.
- Establish Policies and Procedures for Purchasing and build the procurement organization and infrastructure required
to deliver best-in-class sourcing and purchasing for the group.
- Sustainability and Compliance: Integrate ESG criteria into the supply chain.
- Framework Agreements and Terms: Lead complex price and contract negotiations at group level.
- Resilient Supply Chain: Develop robust and flexible supply networks for global markets
Your profile:
- 5 years of professional experience in technical / strategic purchasing in the manufacturing industry in an
international environment.
- 3 years of professional multicultural leadership of commodity- and cross functional teams.
- Experience working in a complex and global matrix organization
- Additional education in SCM oder MBA desirable
- Proven methodological competence for supply chain management, the commodity groups purchasing, logistics and process
optimization.
- Business fluent in English, any other language is an advantage - e.g. German.
- IT skills in the areas of ERP, office tools, new media.
- High willingness to travel (>30% per month).
