Department of Economics - Student Assistant 30 %
Start of employment as soon as possible, temporary
The Department of Economics at the University of Zurich is a leading, world-renowned teaching and research center in
the field of economics. With more than 300 members, it is known for its innovative work and is committed to a truly
multidisciplinary approach, which combines modern economics with elements of history, political science, psychology,
sociology, biology, and neuroscience.
We offer an exciting and interdisciplinary work environment and competitive terms and conditions. Conditional on good
performance, Prof. Costa-Ramón can provide an academic letter of recommendation, e.g. for applications to Master or PhD
programs.
The position is for a six-month period, with the possibility of extension.
Your responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting an ongoing research project.
- Tasks include data analysis, survey documentation, literature search, etc.
Your profile
- Candidates should have a quick mind, good analytical skills and the ability to execute tasks independently and with
highest precision.
- Previous experience with data processing and programming (especially Stata) is an advantage but not a requirement.
- The ideal candidate is a third year bachelor student or a master student at UZH or ETH.
- We only accept applications from students. The field of study should be in economics.
